Following a GPS coordinate from @HansenAZ, I set out to see if I could locate some of the curiosities he posts in his photos from along the river. I found 1 odd modern feature, and a lot of trails or game paths, but nothing like he finds. I mostly just wanted to explore a little. Had I not felt sore from the prior day, maybe I would have hiked up Oatman Mountain, but I didn't.

Interesting lava fields and area. Over by the road I took up from I-8 and the Sentinel Rd exit, close to the Hayden Rd junction, I noted a lot of flowers and other weedy vegetation in what must be a lot of old abandoned farm fields. Stranger still, was a fish farm,"Desert Tilapia", which is reported to be a disgusting fish. Why grow that in the desert?
