First time doing this loop and first time going beyond Mystic trail. Wasn’t a fan off Mystic, too rocky narrow and prickly pears too close to the trail.
Peccary trail and Hog Wash offers nice sweeping views of neighborhoods. Too a side trip to High on the Hog one of my favorite spots. Eerie to see empty trails beneath me, no jeeps no ,pints in bikes...quiet.
First time on Hog Heaven. Ran into a group of stuck mountain bikers twice as they contemplated the steep and slick downhill sections of Hog Heaven.
Recommend hitting this trail early to avoid potentially getting run over by a speeding mountain bike  Not a lot of sections to step off here. |
