| no partners | | Started a bit later than planned. Only one car at the trailhead when we got there, lot full by the time we finished.
Probably less than half a mile in, took a nice fall on your face eat some dirt fall..thanks to a rock sticking out an inch from the ground. That jolted me awake. 
Got confused at the usual spot halfway Slim Shady, went way up the mesa instead of staying in the middle part. Very few wild flowers, ocotillos looking nice and alive..
No forest service presence when we got to the base of Cathedral Rock trail which has been closed.
A very very small part of me thought that would be the perfect time to take Josie up there since the trail is empty. 
This network of trails has always been confusing for me since I rarely go here, so of course went the wrong way on HT for about 0.3. miles before turning around.
Warmed up quickly so we were happy to be on Easy Breezy to complete our loop.
Only ran into 2 hikers and 2 mountain bikers to Cathedral and saw the same group looping back through Easy Breezy. 2 other hikers or Hermit. |
