| no partners | | Hike with our friends Rich and Sue who we met going down the S. Kaibab Trail in 2005. We have vacationed with them every year since. Nice that they have a second home in Oak Creek Village .
Parked along the road at Mystic Trailhead. Loop included Mystic, Hog Wash, Hog Heaven (went wrong way on this double diamond mountain bike trail), High on the Hog, Broken Arrow, Little Horse, and Chapel. Did not seem like that many trail junctions! Judy and I have done many many hikes in Sedona and we’d rate this as one if the best. A+ scenery, spectacular views, lots of up, down and around well marked trails.
Zelda, the Boston Terrier and Kai our Flat Coat loved being off leash. Both are excellent with verbal commands and we always ask if other hikers are “OK with the dogs off leash”. |
