| no partners | | Left the surface of the sun after sunrise on Friday and arrived at East TH at nearly 11am.
Greeted at the TH where it was 65F and a cloudy day but zero rain and no thunderstorm activity whatsoever for the entire day which is a gift for Baldy in Aug--I thought the following day would also be thunderstorm free but the typical Baldy storms returned not once but twice yesterday!
Parking lot had a number of cars but trail activity was the usual Baldy Friday light.
Tough leaving Baldy yesterday after another hike up to the Hall Creek headwaters where at the TH it was 58F with light drizzle at 1pm vs 110F when rolled into town. |
