| no partners | | I needed some outdoor time after a day of meetings now that I'm back at work. I had packed my camera and hiking boots in the car this morning, so I hit the trail at 4:30. This is also known as "Polar Aspen Alley" in the library of hikes, and is lower Hart Prairie on the way to Snow Bowl. The grass is tall and lush, and many wildflowers remain in bloom. There are all kinds of fungi--red, yellow, white, smooth, spiky, lumpy. From the tank, I left the trail to climb around the rocks and cliffs. There are game trails everywhere. Clouds blew by and a beautiful sunset ended the day. |
