Hiked Grandview down to Horseshoe Mesa with my daughter. We started around 0615 and used a light for the first half mile or so. Warmer to start than I thought it would be, and the breeze was pretty minimal. Took our time, with a few breaks as we headed out to the northwest edge of the mesa. As expected, clouds rolled in on our way back up. We kept a slow steady pace, and beat the rain by about 20 minutes. Fun day with my daughter, and she claims she is a Canyon addict.
