| no partners | | Well, I wasn't sure if I'd get to walk today. Woke up to rain, but said "let's go!" anyway. I'd planned on more city walking than hiking, an easier day. I got to Pima Canyon at 6:45am. Still dark, rainy, and breezy, so I sat in the car hoping for a break. It finally broke at 7:45 and I took advantage. From Pima Canyon I went east along Guadalupe Rd., straight through Guadalupe. Past Kyrene Rd. to the Western Canal, where I turned south along Ken McDonald golf course. Followed the canal to Rural Rd., 4 miles from Pima Canyon. A good place to turn around just in case the weather took a turn for the worse.
There's some interesting murals along Guadalupe Rd. Otherwise not much exciting. I did come home with some booty...found a Titleist ProV1X along the edge of Ken McDonald. Always keeping an eye open for lost balls. :-) Not sure that @LosDosSloFolks would be interested in a ProV1. |
