| no partners | | Gorgeous December day. Hardly anyone else on the trail. Made it to the impressive mine ruins at 3.5 miles. Started the scramble to the top but then remembered what goes up must come down. As we were both already bleeding and in boots instead of approach shoes, we headed back down and had our picnic by the ruins instead.
The wind was howling on the way down. We didn’t see a drop of water in the pools. Hoping this storm fills them up! |
