| partners | | This remote, less visited [ Cataract Canyon ] is located in the North section of our Tonto National Forest, bordering the Salome Wilderness, 8+ miles in and off of Hwy288 (the Young Highway) requiring some roads with 4WD to access.
This was Oregon_Hiker and my first planned (day 2 of an ~8 day vehicle camping/hike exploration trip), a very short drive and off-trail hike from FR486 to a bluff / cliffs area to check-out the  views. |
