| no partners | | This is a ride I like to take from my place in Williams, over to Cataract Lake. I usually go further, but I got a late start and it was getting too close to sunset. There are numerous ways to go once you are out to the west of town. You can ride all the way to Ash Fork mostly on dirt.
Cataract Lake is on Cataract Creek, which starts at Bill Williams Mountain and eventually, many miles downstream, gets a name change to Havasu Creek. Yes, same creek as Havasu Falls. Of course, water for Havasu Creek does come out of a big spring, out of the aquifer. |
