I met up with Joel and Jon for a fun afternoon on the lake. It was expectedly busy when we arrived but as daylight waned the lake turned placid and we got to enjoy some special corners of the Four Peaks Wilderness. A giant moon rose to the east and the nighttime paddle back to civilization was spectacular. Temps were ideal and I took advantage with a couple of swim breaks.
