For some reason, I've always skipped the side trip to the railroad tunnel. I had no idea it was so, uh, deep. :sweat:
Apparently they gave up on this project after a few hours of effort. :lol:

Anyway, nice one and done I guess.

Postholed all over Fred for a while. Had some fun in a side canyon or three. Snow angels, and inappropriate sculptures. The usual.

We startled a through hiker who wasn't expecting snow art. Five or six (the last one wasn't so sure she would be social) were set to spend an entertaining night together at the cabin with some trail magic we decided to share.

Can't complain about wringing out another Arizona day in the snow. :y:
