Short hike through IH Wilderness with Kaila and Joey. Trailhead was crowded with lots of cars parked outside the lot, but we were fortunate enough to find parking. Hit the trail around 1pm, most people were already on the way out and threatening clouds were gathering overhead. We chose to loop through the old cascade crest area in order to increase solitude. Huckleberry bushes are in full fall color right now.
