| partners | | Swinging into the new year is always a good time. It’s my third trip to this area, so took a bit of a shorter route this time. I really do enjoy the quiet in the mountains surrounding this hike. The trail was icy in spots, so careful steps were necessary. Since my last visit, it seems somebody had come through and trimmed a path where one previously didn’t exist. Not quite sure how I feel about that given the seclusion of the area, but it was nice to avoid being stabbed by bushes I guess!
It was great to be able to act like a kid without a care in the world while enjoying the views of the snow capped mountains! |
