It starts off just walking in a wash, but soon the walls become higher and it looks a bit more slotty. There was an intersection of two little canyons and we explored to the right first. There was a bit of climbing here but nothing too exciting. The fork didn’t end up leading anywhere, so we turned around and went back to the junction to explore the other side.
Shortly after we continued down this part of the canyon, the fun began! There were some interesting obstacles in here that provided lots of laughs. There was crawling in gravel under boulders, scrambling, stemming and climbing with some areas that were pretty tight squeezes. We had a blast navigating through and were sad when we reached the end of the canyon. We went back the way we came and lots more laughs were had at all the shimmying and crawling. Would definitely recommend for a fun, quick stop if you’re in the area. |
