| no partners | | Katie and I headed to New Mexico for four days to kick off my spring break. We started our tour of New Mexico at White Sands National Park. The park was not overly busy and we had a great time strolling barefoot among the dunes with the pups.
We hiked into the dunes from a couple of pullouts and did not do any hiking on any of the major trails. I can’t remember exactly where we went in, but there are several options and starting points to choose from and I do not think you can go wrong with any of them. I enjoyed the dunes more than I thought I would and was impressed with the big views as well, as some snow covered ranges in the distance and an array of other ranges provided a pretty nice backdrop to the unique setting. |
