We made a trip out to the monument on Saturday. I almost forgot how much the rock piles in the area intrigue me.

We wandered around some between the fort and the pueblo looking for glphys, but we did not find any. I don’t think I have ever been good at finding them tbh. The dogs were a little bit annoyed by the off trail travel out there anyways, so I kept our ambitions low.

My interest has been piqued again for this area. I think I will have to finally get back out to the Brookyln and Squaw Creek sites sans dogs and explore those areas properly sometime soon.
