| no partners | | Great hike in the Goldfields this morning with Katie and the pack. I don’t get out to the Goldfields much, but I was impressed. We hiked to a couple of areas Katie had been to before and then followed a loop I had made the night before on route manager.
All of the trails we took were in great shape and there were generally great views the entire time. The Palo Verde along the trail looked healthy and same for the saguaros and the desert in general. A lot of fun rock formations along the way and the grey paths cut through the green lichen covered bedrock were fun to walk along. This area exceeded my expectations. I could definitely see myself coming back for more. A little windy out there today.
