| no partners | | I've had a couple of surgeries on my jaw lately and I was told to take it easy for a few weeks. I didn't last very long with that advice, as I immediately went out last weekend and hiked. This week, after feeling the effects of that, I was a little better at heeding the advice of my dentist. But, I could not just sit around, so I opted for an easy sunset hike in the southern Usery Park area. A quick jaunt to Cat Peaks via the Meridian Trail fit the bill.
The clouds looked very promising looking west. The east was dark looking. The sun gave a little show, but was quickly blotted out by the low clouds.
I still got in my 2+ miles of exercise. I saw a few bikers, but no other humans. I have another couple weeks to go until I can do something more strenuous, so these short, flat and easy ones will have to make do until then. |
