I needed to get outdoors after being chained to my desk in front of a bunch of flickering monitors all week. With the cool clouds out, I decided to head out to First Water Road. My plans were not set, so I just set off. I brough my little drone to get in some practice as well.

Not many people out which was nice. The temps were not too bad either. I was going to hike up towards the Treasure Loop/Praying Hands, but I just kept going, past the Siphon Draw and down the trail for a mile or so. The sun was setting and I was out of position for any killer shots, but the clouds were amazing. The color show was very nice. Thanks Mother Nature!

I made it back in the dark and headed home. A nice break from the stresses of the job. Just what I needed.
