| no partners | | Another visit to one of my favorite viewpoints. I was hoping for a nice sunrise and arrived to the base in the dark. The clouds did not look promising at first, but as the sunrise started, it turned out to be a really nice one.
The trail up is getting clearer and cleared. Someone has marked the trail with small placements of reflective tape. I guess that’s better than spray painted gigantor cairns!
The road going up to the saddle is as rough as ever.
Lots of brittlebush blooming all along the trail. I saw a few hedgehog blooms as well.
I recently bought a drone and took it for a little spin, but I am still a very poor pilot and high winds made it rough on my little mini. I will get better with that.
My cellphone video skills are improving a little. I’m not giving people seizures with my hyper-panning anymore. Ha ha. Here’s a little video from my trip: [ youtube video ]
I explored down lower than normal, almost to the end of the cliffs. It’s a very amazing area for sure. |
