Took my 3 year old daughter for her first ever backpacking trip! We went in about 2 miles just past Hell's Half Acre canyon and then camped right next to the creek.

Everything I could have expected from a 3 year old backpacking, I carried her for a lot of the way in and then she walked almost the whole way out herself, in the creek! A chip off the old block, she definitely enjoys walking through water than around it. One of my favorite places spent with one of my favorite people, truly a special experience!
