What started out as “let’s go snowshoeing up Mt. Wrightson” turned out for Rudy and myself to doing the loop. I thought it would be colder than it was and packed too much weight.
After taking a break at Josephine Saddle, we started back up Baldy. After about a third of a mile, I knew from the pain in my hip, I needed to abort.

So, Rudy and I headed down the Super Trail hoping for a more gradual decent and less ice.
