| no partners | | I had been meaning to check out this informal trail for awhile. The trail has no name on my paper map, but it’s a pretty long trail and it appears to offer connecting and looping options to other trails in the areas. There is no signage at the trailhead and the kiosk provides no information of any value.
The trail was in pretty good shape for most of the two miles of it I hiked. Like every other drainage in the area, the creek was flowing nicely as well and there were several sections of scenic little cascades. I followed the trail past the bypass of the more narrow section with several cascades and then made a loop of that creek section on my way back for a little lollipop. I would not mind coming back and trying to follow the unnamed trail to its intersection with the AD Bar Trail. |
