| no partners | | Solid warm-up for things to come. Parked in Haight-Asbury and walked south through the neighborhood to Tank Hill. Next up was Twin Peaks. Walking seems to be the way to go as break-ins are common - plenty of broken glass to confirm. Great views of pretty much all of San Francisco up there.
South of Twin Peaks lies Mount Davidson, the day's main objective. A trail between two homes in a quiet neighborhood leads the way. The peak is surrounded in lush greenery. Hard to believe you're in the middle of the city! Checked out the peak's signature cross then continued the southern trend down to Shanghai Dumpling King on Monterey. Took the bus back to my car and proceeded north for the night. |
