We began work on Abbey's Way yesterday and we had a few pleasant surprises. Workman Creek Road #487 has been worked on, and is a little less bumpy around Workman Falls. There is a brand new #151 sign at the trailhead. And we found signs of someone having worked on the trail recently! Many thanks. The trail was in better shape than we were expecting, and this all helped us clear to just before the first switchback. Temps were in the mid 80s.
