We drove to the upper Parker Creek trailhead off Forest Road #487 just past Abbey's Way and started working down this upper portion of the trail. There were signs of some work done fairly recently, and with that and some extra help, it wasn't hard to clear the trail down to the Rim Trail #139 junction. It looks like one more trip will get us to the lower portion of the Parker Creek trail below Dixon Saddle where we worked to last spring. The cool weather was perfect for doing some hard trail clearing.
