The Harem wanted to hike in my hood this weekend and I was happy to oblige. We started from Estrella Foothills Community Park and made our way over to the Estrella Loop trail. Took that north to Jumpline and found the short steep connector trail to Blackjack. Up to the top to hang out by the flag, sign the summit register, and get spooked by a scary vulture. Down the east side to Up Yonder, Grasky, a stop at Brethren's Court, down Rum Runner, and Park Ave back to Estrella Loop trail. Saw some hikers and bikers in the distance, otherwise we had the trails to ourselves. Cafe Bebida's for post hike treats afterwards.
