The Harem (Carey and Christina) wanted to hike some Pirate trails today and I was happy to oblige. We started from the Safeway parking lot at Estrella Parkway and Elliot. Crossed Estrella Parkway on Elliott headed east to the Pirate trails. Worked our way on some two track over to Beam Me Down, took that to Beam Me Up counter clockwise over to Hook Up, What Up, Giddy Up, Upper Pass, Upside Down to the Saddle. Played leap frog with some mountain bikers on Blackjack with a side trip to the "summit". Sorry site of a summit register on top with a tattered American flag. Carefully chose our line back down the hill to Pirates Cove and then the pipeline back to Elliott. Post hike treats at Safeway!
