Including your 3-year old son and the dog on a fairly straightforward itinerary can certainly up the ante! The water was quite high this day compared to other times I've visited this canyon. There were a few swimmers and obstacle navigations that made our time very interesting! Took a shortcut out of the canyon and the trail all the way back. Otherwise a great time and memorable experience.
