| no partners | | | Early morning hike in the Estrellas. Wanted to get a loop involving the Dysart. Got to the Toothacher TH around 5:30. Went clockwise. Toothacher - Butterfield - Dysart - Rainbow Valley. There are quite a few ups and downs on the Dysart but I enjoy the Butterfield and Rainbow. Timing worked out great. I had the sun to my back or was in the mountain shadows for all the climbs. No wildlife on the trail, but I saw a snake and a roadrunner on the drive through the park. |
