A trip out to Tortilla Ranch to look for rocks. I haven't hiked with Lee in a while so we took a hike out the JF trail to look for rocks. There were rocks on the trail, next to the trail and even rocks off trail. Some places there were so many rocks they had to stack them on top of each other. The plan was 8 miles but after a few side trips and wrong turns and being lured in by a drainage with rocks we ended up with 12 miles. The Miller Mine spring is pretty much dry but still interesting. The start was chilly but it warmed up and was a good day to look for rocks. Thanks for the hike Lee.
