Kelly wanted to hike the over and back on Alta again. The newish parking area and trailhead are a big improvement over parking in the triangle and hiking Bajada to reach Alta.
Nice sunrise. Temps were very comfortable. Lots of shade on the back side in the morning.
We dug around a bit looking for the benchmark on Maricopa peak. No luck. Saw a mangy coyote.
