Denny had the morning open for a hike and picked Bluff Spring. That was a good choice and we had hopes of seeing a gila monster (I've seen 4 in this area over the years) but we may have been a bit early in the day. The trail was rocky but not overgrown and the weather was about perfect. We took an easy pace and noticed the spur trail to Bluff Spring has moved some but it takes you right to the black hose with water flowing. We didn't find any gold on this hike but there's always next time.
