A quick hike with Denny to the top of Black Mesa. I usually just hike Black Mesa trail and skip the high point. It's worth checking out once in a while. There are still some nice saguaros up there and it's fun to look around and see what you may find. We also checked out the old prospect, looked at so pot sherds and cut through Garden Valley to so what was exposed by the burn. A good out and back hike before it warms up.
