This was plan B to revisit Cottonwood Spring in the Goldfields. The road hiking is easy but boring. The views outside the Goldfields are nice. I didn't see any leftover signs of the Tomahawk Mine. No other hikers or OHV drivers seen on this trip. I hiked up to a ridge with some overhangs to look for native habitation but all I found was a squatters cave. From the ridge I could see a horse trail so I hiked up to that and returned using the horse trail. Nice weather anyway.
