This is a short walk to a fantastic overlook at the end of the road listed as "Dark Spur" on OnX. Dark Spur is a short Spur off of the "Dark Forest" super sandy 4wd road in the white Pocket area. These names crack me up because there is no forest and it is not dark!

From our campsite off Pine Road, we headed east on Pine Road (blm 1017) then north on Blm roads 1086 and 1087. After exploring white Pocket, we headed out east towards the hole in the rock, and then made a loop south and west. It took about 2 hours to off-road from hole in the rock to this parking area at the end of Dark Spur.
