| no partners | | Dot and I hiked in three miles on the trail(s) to Torrey Lake. I would have liked to hike to the lake, but its a 17 mile RT and outside of Dot's range by a lot. It will make a better backpack next summer anyways and I was trying to keep Dot rested for an upcoming 11 mile day.
The trail was in excellent shape and the hiking was pleasant. It was nothing more than a morning stroll, but we both came away fulfilled. Most of the trail we hiked was along the scenic Jacobson Meadow and Creek. We turned around just past the intersection with the David Creek Trail, which takes you to Torrey Lake. |
