Stayed at City of Lake Tahoe Campground on Friday night. Options were slim when booking a few days out and I took what I could get. Needless to say, staying in the center of town appeals to the lowest common denominator - some pumpkin blasted Stand By Me at 1:46am, presumably waking up the whole campground. Tough to get a good night's sleep.
Anyways, Saturday was a rest day. Rather than actually doing nothing, I opted to do this quick walk. The trailhead was full and after waiting about 20 minutes for a spot to open up, I decided to park up the street at Kahle Park. Walked down to Nevada Beach and dipped my feet in the lake before returning to the car. |
