| no partners | | Beautiful cruise up to San Juan Hill. It's a road walk but with the lush vegetation everywhere, it felt like singletrack. Cool views of Catalina Island out west to San Jacinto in the east, the latter of which had a small fire burning in its vicinity- looks like it is/was a prescribed burn.
It took some time to get to the parking area from the park entrance. Obviously it was busy from the holiday, but the main park road is very narrow (one lane in a few spots). Coupled with a ton of pedestrians walking up and down the street, it was a mad house. The hike was super secluded, though. |
