| no partners | | | Made a direct route from the Hiero lot to the Holy Hill Trail and hiked that eastward until it ended, then took a trail up to the Gila Monster Trail and hiked that to its end. After that I took a road down to the Old Horse Trail and hiked back to the lot. It seemed cooler than yesterday but was still very humid. Saw a few hikers and 2 bikers. There were 4 or 5 cars at the lot when I started and one left when I got back. It was before 11 when I finished but the heat was starting to kick in a bit more. No wildlife seen, or even cattle, which there a lot of in this area sometimes. Probably too hot for anything to want to move around. |
