| no partners | | I started from the Butcher Jones area and hiked the ATV roads over to Saguaro Cove and different roads on the way back. It was pretty chilly to start, and most of the roads were in the shade from hiking in little canyons. Once I got up on the ridges and the sun was on me, I was pretty warm. The roads made several crossings over the washes which made for intermediate steep declines and ascents, even though they were short. Saw almost no one except for a couple of ATV riders. The roads were at time challenging enough with the steepness to be interesting, along with a different perspective on similar scenery.
Very warm when I finished up, actually had to towel down a bit, which is unusual for this late in November. |
