I started from the Bulldog Canyon TH and hiked FR10 to FR1356, and then took the wash west of the Top Hat until I hit 4 miles and turned around. Very red sky at the start.

Saw a couple 4WDers, no other hikers and no wildlife. Chilly to start just before 7am and then warm when I finished at 11. Very mild weather and the clouds kept the sun from getting too intense. Nice to get out on a Sunday for an easy hike. Still lots of green from recent rains.
