Walked around a variety of trails in the western side of the park. Everything was covered in about 2-6” of snow, including all the trails. Luckily, I knew this would be the case, so I made sure to bring waterproof shoes and socks. Saw a ton of Canada geese, a few squirrels, and some bison. Lots of rabbit and deer tracks in the snow.
Temps in the upper 30s by the time I finished, and the jacket was a little too much at that point. Easy hiking, and it was nice to get a few miles in. |
