Good day for Picketpost. Warm at the start, 55 degrees, but luckily it was shaded. Kelly and I saw one other hiker on our way up. Lots of new yellow painted dots along the route—as soon as one color fades, someone seems to add a new color of dots/arrows. On the plus side, it seems to keep most hikers on the same route.

Good summit views, lots of green out there. No breeze. Saw several hikers on our descent. I didn’t love the water in the chute, making some of the rocks wet in the steepest part. I butt scooted around the water. Everything else was fine.
