| partners | | I guess I decided to chart this one by photoset, also Joe's triplog describes it perfectly. Please note: I ALWAYS take a photo at the summit this time I posted them all because I found it amusing to see us on each peak a little more exhausted as the day went on.
It took us 14 hours but we stopped a lot for photos; we even stayed on Peak 3 for a 35-minute lunch. We decided to go cliff hanging on the SW (?) side of peak 3 and I think we must have passed the preferred route up to Peak 2. Then after the ridge walk between 1 & 2 I almost convinced Joe to take a hazardous route down to avoid climbing all of the way back up (It would have been a really bad idea...) Most of our time we spent trying to decide what would be the best way to get from point A to B
To me, it seemed that the obstacles in between the peaks were more challenging to get around then the summiting of the peaks. I think this will be a lot easier to complete the next time because we are more familiar with the peaks. We placed a few cairns on the routes that were efficient and I have a pretty good idea of the route I would take next time. If you have done this many times will you make comment on my "best guess route" I drew (I know) I should have used a topographical map. As I said in the photo post:
AWESOME ADVENTURE! Thanks Joe |
