| no partners | | This hike involved taking some of the trails in the Western end of the Enchanted Hills Trails Park, but much of my hike was off trail.
This hike basically involved 4 peaks: peak 2954, peak 2928, peak 2920, peak 2859. It is possible to hike to peak 2859 staying on a well-maintained trail. The 3 other peaks involved doing an off trail hike. The footing was pretty good overall.

0.16 - 0.5 mi - off trail hike to peak 2954. the way I went involved some class 3 but there wasn't any exposure. there were some grassy areas along the way.
0.5 - 0.7 mi - off trail hike to peak 2928, as labeled on topo map.
0.7 - 0.95 - off trail walk down to a well-maintained trail
0.95 - 1.13 - on well-maintained trail
1.13 - 1.38 - off trail hike to peak 2920. there were some grassy areas along the way.
1.38 - 1.62 - off trail hike back down to trail
1.62 - 2.4 - on nicely maintained trail to peak 2859
2.4 - 2.96 - on nicely maintained trail to parking area

West on Starr Pass Blvd
South on La Cholla Blvd
West on 36th St to trailhead (Note: 36th Street is a horrible rough road with a lot of patch work. It is in serious need of repaving!) |
