| no partners | | This is about as easy as Ray Spring Hill in the Catalinas. An old mining road goes all the way to the top. You could do this hike in 15 mins (round trip). If you need a good place to camp this is all BLM land. When I hiked it, I saw at least 20 car campers spread out all over the area. There are some fire rings in this area.
It's an easy walk up an old mining road to the top. The only good routes up are from the South or East. The West side has a good sized cliff.

From Tucson (North/Central), take I-10 E toward I-19 S
Use the right lane to take exit 260 for I-19 S toward Nogales, continue for 0.4 mi
Continue onto I-19 S. for 0.8 mi
Take exit 99 for Ajo Way W, continue for 0.4 mi
Merge onto AZ-86 W, continue West for 7.2 mi
Turn right onto S Camino Verde, continue for 0.1 mi
Turn left onto W Old Ajo Hwy, continue for 0.4 mi
Turn left. Park anywhere you see an open site, off the road.
