1st trip
This report involves all of the following Peaks: 2867, 2841, 2832, and 2864.

Along the way I saw some interesting things also:
1. a junked 72 Camaro, which I believe is how the Camaro trail was named
2. a junked 68 Nova, which was in really bad shape and hardly recognizable
3. ruins of a stone house, at least 80 yrs old
4. a nice crested saguaro on the Sunset pass trail
5. a silhouette of a crested saguaro looking up a wash on the Camaro trail

In general, my route involves about 7.3 miles ON trails/roads, and roughly 1.7 miles off trail. The trails are very well maintained. The off trail sections involved a ridgeline, an open wash, and there wasn't any thick brush anywhere the entire day.

These were the trails I used:

Bittersweet trail
360 Vista trail
Sunset Pass trail
Camaro Loop trail
Ledge Surfer trail
Stone House Spur trail
Boulder Belt trail
Chico's Hay trail

Description of my route...

0 to .38 mi - Bittersweet trail East then North to trail junction with Sunset Pass trail
.38 to .56 mi - off trail climb to top of the ridgeline (0.18 mi off trail)
.56 to .63 mi - followed an old road to Peak 2867

1.19 to 1.35 mi - take old road to Ledge Surfer trail
1.35 - intersect Ledge Surfer trail
1.35 to 1.49 mi - continued to Peak 2832. I followed a faint use trail in this area. There was a jar registry at the top with a mount of rocks. (0.14 mi off trail)
1.49 to 1.79 mi - off trail scramble to Camaro trail (0.3 mi off trail)
1.79 to 2.0 mi - intersect Camaro trail and take trail East to trail junction
2.0 to 2.63 mi - continue on Boulder Belt trail, intersect gas line road, continue straight
2.63 to 2.95 mi - continue on Boulder Belt trail to trail junction
2.95 to 3.17 mi - continue on Chico's Hay trail
3.17 to 3.65 mi - exit trail, follow ridgeline to Peak 2864 (0.48 mi off trail)
3.65 to 4.04 mi - follow ridgeline back down to wash, cross wash, and intersect Chico's Hay trail (0.39 mi off trail)

4.25 to 5.18 mi - follow Boulder Belt trail to Camaro trail
5.18 to 5.53 mi - follow Camaro trail to Ledge Surfer trail
5.53 to 6.10 mi - follow Ledge Surfer trail to stone house
6.10 to 6.65 mi - follow Ledge Surfer trail back to Camaro trail
6.65 to 7.3 mi - take Camaro trail to a curve where there's a viewpoint looking West of a silhouette of a crested saguaro
7.3 to 7.37 mi - continue on trail to 'junk 72 Camaro'
7.37 to 7.54 mi - continue back on Camaro trail to a wash and turn left

7.78 to 7.79 mi - exit unmarked road and walk 50-60 feet to Sunset Pass trail (0.01 mi off trail)
7.79 to 8.17 mi - continue on Sunset Pass trail to crested saguaro
8.17 to 8.50 mi - continue on Sunset Pass trail to trail junction

Stats (for all 3 peaks):
-------------------------
Distance (round trip): 8.97 miles

Strava moving time: 4 hrs 2 mins
Strava elapsed time: 6 hrs 21 mins

Driving Directions:
---------------------

Use the right lane to take exit 260 for I-19 S toward Nogales

Continue onto I-19 S for 0.8 mi

Take exit 99 for Ajo Way W

Merge onto AZ-86 W, continue for 4.0 mi

Turn left onto S Bilbray Ave, continue for 0.2 mi

Turn left onto W Calle Don Monte, continue for 0.5 mi
(Partial restricted usage road)

Note: the road gets a bit rocky/rough up ahead but a standard sedan should make it...

W Calle Don Monte turns right and becomes S Century Rd
(Restricted usage road)
continue for 0.1 mi
Destination will be on the left

There are a few spaces to park in front of a locked gate. On the locked gate it says 'Pima County. No Motorized Vehicles Allowed. Violators will be prosecuted'. (But foot traffic is allowed)

There's a trailhead just South of where I parked but there's no real parking AT the trailhead. I suppose this is because it's supposed to be a neighborhood trailhead. This is one place to access the Bittersweet trailhead.

one good location to park:
